Terry is a NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) board certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. In 2014 her life took a serious medical turn. Not knowing where it would lead, it was actually the beginning of a new way of living for her. Through her medical struggles she was introduced to Ayurveda at a talk at the Pasadena Cancer Support Center, and she immediately felt compelled to learn more. She wanted to heal her body, so she started to search and found the Ayurveda program at the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California. She eagerly enrolled and was excited to start learning. She first became an Ayurvedic Wellness Educator in April of 2020, and after furthering her studies, in April 2021 she graduated as an Ayurvedic Practitioner. She was blessed to be able to take a school trip to India in 2019 where she participated in a course offered through the Amrita School of Ayurveda. There, she had the opportunity to learn from a renowned Ayurvedic Doctor by shadowing him in the hospital and outpatient clinics. Terry is a single mother of 2 adults and the grandmother of 3 beautiful grandchildren, who she happily nurtures through her knowledge and practice of Ayurveda.
